Jason Aldean Scores Second #1 “Billboard” 200 Album with “Old Boots, New Dirt”

Image Courtesy James Minchin/Broken BowCongratulations to Jason Aldean on earning his second #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart with Old Boots, New Dirt. The project sold 278,000 copies, according to NielsenSoundscan. Only Coldplay and Eric Church have scored bigger sales weeks so far this year.

Jason knocks last week's chart-topper, Blake Shelton's Bringing Back the Sunshine, out of the #1 spot. This is the first time in more than a year one country album has replaced another country release at the top of the album chart.

Thomas Rhett Cuts a Rug in “Make Me Wanna” Video, Open to Competing on “Dancing with the Stars”

Image Courtesy Big MachineFans who've seen Thomas Rhett in concert know he's got some smooth dance moves, but now he's showing them off for everyone else in the new video for "Make Me Wanna." The inventive clip features Thomas dancing in different situations as the camera spins around a brick room. It's a far cry from the original idea they had for the video.

Says Thomas, "We had a talk about doing the typical guy-girl in a truck riding down a dirt road kind of video, but I was just like, 'I can't do that again. I'm done doing just the normal video.'"

Thomas had fun dancing his way through the video changing clothes from a formal tuxedo to a simple t-shirt and jeans in different shots.

Thomas says, "Any excuse I get to wear a suit, I mean, I'm gonna go for it. So, that was my attempt at pretending like I was James Bond and James Brown at the same time."

Thomas and his wife, Lauren, are big fans of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, and she recently asked him if he'd be open to competing on the show himself.

"I would love to do it, but I don't know that I could actually pull it off," Thomas admits.

"Make Me Wanna" is the latest single from Thomas's debut album, It Goes Like This, available now in stores and online.
