Kenny Chesney scored his 12th consecutive #1 Billboard country album this week, with his latest project, Life On A Rock. It may be the most personal project to date for the singer, Kenny says it shows throughout each track, “It was just me and a pen and a paper — and over time. And I think that that was good for me ’cause I was able to really settle with a lyric and settle, and in my head, I already had the music written in my head for a lot of these songs. I just hadn’t literally done it yet.” One track that is close to Kenny’s heart is “Spread The Love.” The song inspired Kenny to create the Spread The Love Fund, which helps the victims of the Boston bombings. He will discuss the foundation on ABC’s Katie Couric Show today.
