Luke Bryan is not only the new ACM Awards co-host, but a horse rescuer as well! Over the weekend, Luke and his buddies were boating near Franklin, Tennessee, where they spotted a horse who had fallen into a river – WSMV-TV reports. The 15-year-old horse named “Misty” tumbled 15-feet into the water, when a rain-soaked river bank gave way. “Misty’s” owner, Janet McCormick, tells the news channel, “If they hadn’t been going down the river in the boat, I wouldn’t have known that she’d fallen in.” After several hours, it took a team of a dozen people to set her free with “some straps, a tractor and a lot of manpower.”
