No one had a busier 2012 than Blake Shelton, and the pressure of balancing his many responsibilities nearly forced him to quit The Voice. The coach, who filmed three seasons of the hit NBC show in 2012, recently recalled his near breakdown to Wetpaint. “Oh my God. It sucked,” Who could blame him? Blake was “doing season three of The Voice, Season 4 of The Voice, CMAs, and [his] Christmas special all within like three weeks of each other.” The singer admits at one point, “I called my manager, and was like, ‘That’s it. I quit. I just quit. Figure it out. I’m going home.’” Luckily Blake reconsidered, and is “having a ball doing it right now.” Season 4 of The Voice begins March 25.
